Blackjack at GG66: the live casino the Brazilian player deserves
Blackjack — also known as 21 — is the casino game with the best strategy-to-outcome ratio available on any platform. Unlike slots, where results are 100% random, blackjack lets players cut the house edge to under 0.5% with correct basic strategy. At GG66, live blackjack offers RTPs of up to 99.58% — among the best in the Brazilian market.
GG66's live casino features real dealers filmed in a professional studio, streamed in high quality directly to your phone or computer. You watch the cards being dealt in real time, hear the dealer announce results, and interact with the table just like you would at a high-end physical casino — all from the comfort of home, with Pix deposits and withdrawals processed in seconds.
GG66 has dozens of tables available, from options starting at R$ 5.00 — perfect for players who are learning or want longer sessions on a smaller bankroll — to VIP tables with limits up to R$ 50,000.00 per hand for high-volume players. With Infinite Blackjack, you'll never have to wait for a seat: the format supports an unlimited number of simultaneous players, all dealt the same cards and making their decisions independently.
How blackjack works — basic rules for beginners
The goal of blackjack is straightforward: get a point total closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Numbered cards are worth their face value, face cards (Jack, Queen, and King) are worth 10 points, and an Ace can be worth either 1 or 11 — whichever benefits your hand more.
Each round begins with the dealer dealing two cards to each player and two to themselves — one face up and one face down. Based on your cards and the dealer's up card, you choose from the available actions:
Hit: receive one more card. You can hit as many times as you like, but if you go over 21 (bust), you lose your bet immediately. Stand: keep your current hand and pass the turn to the dealer. Double Down: double your initial bet and receive exactly one more card — a great option when you hold 10 or 11 points. Split: when you hold two cards of the same value, you can split them into two separate hands, placing an additional bet. Insurance: when the dealer's up card is an Ace, you can place a side bet of up to half your original wager, paying 2:1 if the dealer has blackjack.
A natural blackjack — an Ace plus any 10-value card on the first two cards — pays 3:2 at GG66, the classic and player-fair ratio. Tables that pay only 6:5 for blackjack sharply reduce the RTP, which is why GG66 tables avoid that rule.
